What is Package Protection?Updated 11 days ago

Package Protection is an optional add on you can purchase at checkout for each Santa Letter Package. It allows our team to send a one-time replacement or issue a refund for covered issues like loss in transit or damage on arrival. Package Protection is nonrefundable once shipped. It does not change your shipping method, it does not add tracking to USPS First Class letters, and it does not guarantee delivery by a specific date.

What Package Protection covers

  1. Lost in transit

    • Carrier marks the shipment as Lost or Dead Mail.

  2. Damaged in transit

    • Contents arrive visibly damaged or unusable.

  3. Packing error

    • Wrong item or missing item confirmed by our team.

What Package Protection does not cover

  1. Carrier delays

    • Weather, volume spikes, or operational delays are not covered.

  2. Address errors entered at checkout

    • If an incorrect address was provided, this is not covered.

  3. Delivered but not received

    • When the carrier shows Delivered, theft after delivery is not covered.

  4. Preference changes

    • No longer needed, needed sooner, or similar preference related reasons.

  5. Shipping upgrades

    • Faster shipping is not included. Upgrades are optional and paid by the customer.
